We are all facing extraordinary challenges right now and the situation is placing pressure on all parts of society. The Government has made several very important decisions about schools which means, for the majority of children, schools will close. However, schools will remain open for;
Children who do not fall into the groups listed above should remain at home with the appropriate care. Schools are closed for public health reasons.
There is currently no date as to when schools will reopen.
We know that environments play a crucial role in supporting the health and well being of young people and ask that you all support each other.

The Healthy Learning, Healthy Lives team will continue to help support Doncaster Schools, Colleges, Early Years Providers and parents.

Healthy Learning, Healthy Lives Accreditation
The programme includes a free Healthy Learning, Healthy Lives accreditation (formerly Healthy Schools) for local schools and early years settings. The dedicated team will provide advice and support to teachers and professionals to achieve the award. By working towards the award, education settings will be able to not only improve the health and wellbeing of children and their families but will also be meeting a range of local and national priorities.
