NSPCC Speak Out, Stay Safe

Speak out Stay safe is a session available to all primary schools in the UK.  The visits are tailored to Key Stage 1 & 2 and aim to equip children with the knowledge and understanding they need to stay safe from abuse and neglect.  More information here.

 

YGAM

The Young Gamers and Gamblers Education Trust (YGAM) offer free workshops open to anyone that works with young or vulnerable people aged 7-25. The workshops cover information on gaming and gambling in the UK and provide the tools needed to protect people from the risks of problem gaming and/or gambling.

Jessie & Friends: online safety education for 4-7's 

A three-episode animated series which aims to equip 4-7 year olds with the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to help them stay safe from sexual abuse and other risks they may encounter online.

Teaching pack for KS2. 

‘Let’s watch a film! Making choices about what to watch’

Free PSHE education lessons from the BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) use the context of films and film classification to explore decision-making, risk management and managing peer influence. The resources are for Key Stage 2.

'When I worry about things' 

 A collection of animated films that explore mental health issues from the perspective of children. Topics include bullying (being bullied and being a bully), depression, OCD, anorexia and panic attacks.  Alongside each, there is more information about the content of the film, and suggestions of how it could be used in the classroom.  These resources are suitable for use with pupils aged 8-13years. Disrespect NoBody

Information related to the Disrespect NoBody campaign, which helps young people understand what a healthy relationship is. Includes lesson plans for KS 2-5 on the subjects of bullying, relationships and safety.

Clips looking at children with a range of disabilities, learning differences and medical conditions,  to encourage understanding and inclusion.

E-Bug 

E-Bug is a free educational resource for classroom and home use and makes learning about micro-organisms, the spread, prevention and treatment of infection fun and accessible. The site includes Key Stage 1 & 2 resources including lesson plans, worksheets and presentations.
