What is Healthy Learning, Healthy Lives?

We know that learning environments play a crucial role in supporting the health and wellbeing of young people. The Healthy Learning, Healthy Lives programme aims to help support and celebrate the good work of Doncaster Schools, Colleges and Early Years Providers.

This website includes free resources, information and useful contacts for teachers, professionals and families of children aged 2 to 18 years. Visit the Resources  section and the Parents & Community section  to view them all.

The programme includes a Healthy Learning, Healthy Lives accreditation (formerly Healthy Schools) for local schools and early years settings. The dedicated team will provide advice and support to teachers and professionals to achieve the award.

By working towards the award, education settings will be able to not only improve the health and wellbeing of children and their families but will also be meeting a range of local and national priorities.
