The Development Wheel

The Development Wheel is the online platform which delivers our Healthy Learning, Healthy Lives (HLHL) programme. The wheel is secure, easy to use, and allows real time updates and communication between the City of Doncaster Council Public Health Team and our settings.  

 

Overview of the Healthy Learning, Healthy Lives Development Wheel

• Accessed online.
• Can also be used on iPad & Android Tablets.
• Password protected portal.
• Everyone in the setting uses the same log in and wheel.
• Versions of the wheel can be saved and printed to view progress.
• Real time updates.
• Includes text boxes for comments to be add by the setting and the reviewer.
• Setting encouraged to keep using the wheel after receiving accreditation, for storage and for evidencing progress and standards.
• Supporting examples are embedded within the relevant sections of the wheel.
• Settings can RAG rate the criteria points to review their progress and set targets.
