We are the Sport England funded County Sports Partnership offering free support, training and resources for primary schools to improve PE, sport and physical activity. We work with community sports clubs and organisations to enhance pathways between school and community sport and can fund satellite clubs for extracurricular activity. http://www.yorkshiresport.org

 

Modeshift Stars

The National Modeshift STARS accreditation scheme, supported by the Department for Transport, rewards schools that promote and encourage walking, scooting and cycling to school.

 The scheme works to encourage more families to lead active, healthy lifestyles. Our Active Travel Officer can provide free resources, classroom sessions and online support. The Modeshift STARS scheme supports the Physical Activity section of Healthy Learning, Healthy Lives.

Healthier Families is the new home of Change4Life. The new site has lots of free indoor and outdoor games and activities for children with themes including their favourite Disney characters!
