A healthy lifestyle can reduce the risk of developing some illnesses, increase the enjoyment children get from life and help them to lead active and healthy lives. Early years settings offer important opportunities to promote key messages around a variety of health topics including sun safety, immunisations and vaccinations and accident prevention.

Brook Sexual Behaviours Traffic Light Tool | This tool lists examples of presenting sexual behaviours within four age categories. All green, amber and red behaviours require some form of attention and response, but the type of intervention will vary according to the behaviour. This tool must be used within the context of the guidance provided and should not be used in isolation. |
