Schools Active Travel Awards

Doncaster Council would like to invite you to nominate individuals and schools who deserve to be recognised for their contributions promoting Active Travel over the last twelve months

Following the success of last year’s Schools Active Travel Awards, Doncaster Council would like to invite you to nominate individuals and schools who deserve to be recognised for their contributions promoting Active Travel over the last twelve months. A list of nomination categories can be seen below.

Schools, Staff, Parents and Pupils will be rewarded for going above and beyond in their promotion of Walking, Cycling and Scooting to school. There will be a variety of prizes including days out at Doncaster’s new Cycle Track, fleets of balance bikes, cycle shop vouchers and much more!!!

Doncaster Council recognise the hard work that has gone into reducing the number of car journeys to and from school over the past twelve months, working alongside partners like Modeshift STARS, DCLT Bikeability and the Road Safety Team. This has a direct impact on peoples levels of physical activity along with improving the quality of air for Doncaster residents.

Nominations must be submitted to Transportationunit@doncaster.gov.uk or delivered by post to the address below with a completed Data Statement Form by 17:00 on Friday 3rd April 2020.

Successful nominations will be invited to the awards ceremony which will take place at the Keepmoat Stadium on Monday 18th May 12:30 – 14:30.

Nominations form and data statement form can be found at the bottom of this page.
