The next Healthy Learning, Healthy Lives Network meeting; Meeting One Monday 2nd and Meeting Two Monday 9th, at Mary Woollett Centre from 4pm.

As you are aware Healthy Learning, Healthy Lives (HLHL) network event takes place each term over the course of the school year.  Each event includes a key focus on a topic, which is relevant or has been chosen by attendees.  The meeting will usually be split with one part specifically for Early Years settings and the other for schools.

Due to the content and the amount of information we would like to share this term, we have made the decision to hold meetings on two separate dates. The details are;

Meeting One – 2nd March 2020 4pm - 6pm

This meeting content is relevant to KS2 and above, though all are welcome to attend.

Rethink Periods

This meeting will address menstruation education and look at different options of sanitary products to reduce plastic waste.  Teaching resources have been developed and will be shared and a demo box of samples of different products that your school can then use will be provided at the meeting.

Meeting Two – 9th March 2020 4pm – 6pm

This meeting content is relevant to all.

The Wheel

At this meeting we will focus on the HLHL wheel, from initial stage right through to accreditation and beyond. We will address cares and concerns that setting may have with the wheel and give you the opportunity to share best practice. We will share resources and advise on matters from initial set up to enhanced criteria. This meeting is aimed at all settings whether you are just starting out or need a refresh.
